"Painting has been my dearest friend for almost 40 years now, and in all that
time I have never been able to ignore the wonders that are possible in painting.
It is firmly tied to my identity, my values, my relationships with others, and my
ideas about the world I live in. To this day I still cannot rationally understand
or define Art which has so captivated and dominated my life. Perhaps the "skills"
I have picked up along the way giving visual form to concepts with freedom to
use them are the most precious gifts I possess."

"Art has taken me thru many highs and lows and thru it. I have been fortunate
enough to see and experience a good deal of this world with my travels.
Nowadays my work seems to be directly sensed with what moves me about life,
agreeing that everything is a miracle and it is everywhere all at once, here nothing
is out of bounds as subject, nothing, even the most negative of things."

"I have learned at best thru my experiments in painting, that if one advances
confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live  the life he has
imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put
things behind, and will pass an invisible boundary, new and universal, and he will
live with the license of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his
life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be
solitude, nor poverty, poverty, nor weakness, weakness."

"I have learned life itself is an Artistic endeavor.........."
